WA:Tuckey flirts with Liberal presidency tilt

Former West Australian MP WILSON TUCKEY hasn't ruled out putting his name forward for
the presidency of the state Liberal Party in a possible challenge to entrepreneur GEOFF
PROSSER.

Mr PROSSER .. who was a federal MP for a 10 years .. is likely to be a candidate for
WA State Liberal Party President when the issue is decided at the state conference in
August.

Current president BARRY COURT will step down following the expiry of his four-year
term in which he oversaw the return to power of the Liberals despite years of instability.
