Vic: Woman critical after assault
A 28-year-old woman is fighting for her life in hospital after an assault in a Melbourne home.
Police say a second woman also received head injuries in last night's incident andhomicide squad detectives are assisting with the investigation.
A 53-year-old man at the house in Foxglove Place, north-suburban Epping, has been takeninto custody for questioning.
